Loan Entrance CounselingLoan Entrance Counseling is a one time requirement for all first time borrowers at Florida State University. The Loan Entrance Counseling can be completed online in 15 to 20 minutes, and may be done before the semester starts, from any secure internet connection. If you are a Graduate Student and will borrow through the Graduate PLUS loan program, please complete the Combination Stafford and PLUS loan counseling. Print or save your Rights and Responsibilities page at the end of the session. FSU should receive confirmation of your completion automatically but you should retain a copy for your records in case we need to confirm that you completed the requirement. Note: All students receiving federal loans will also be required to complete a Loan Exit Counseling session at the time that they either graduate, withdraw or drop below half time.. This session is administered by the Student Financial Services office. You will receive notification of this requirement during your last term of enrollment.
